NYCBBB — Buffalo Bills, Yikes!
Hello all 1,307 NYC Bills fans!
Yikes! Did you hear that? That was the sound of 1,307 NYC-area Bills fans
crashing back down to earth realizing the reality of the 2005 Buffalo
Bills. I’ve been saying that if the Bills offense can put up 20
points a game, we’ll win almost every contest this season. But 3
points….3 POINTS??? And no, I’m not going to take the bait
and blame Losman. McGahee had only 34 yards and our supposed 'great'
defense was manhandled by an average offense.
Is the season over? Of course not! If we were going to get manhandled,
it’s best that it happens this early in the season. If we can win
every home game, all we need to do is win 2 away games and there’s a
solid chance we’ll be in the playoffs, so hold your heads high and
get fired up to see the Bills try to tame Michael Vick and his Falcons
next Sunday! I’m sure myself and the other 72,000 Bills fans at the
Ralph are going to be loud as hell, so I expect you guys to be as well in
McFadden’s and Calico Jack's!
For those of you that watched the games with us this week, did you have a
good time? We’re well aware of the sound problem at Calicos, which
will be fixed this week. It was an unforeseeable problem, and I want to
thank Calicos management for stepping up and taking care of those that
watched the game there. How was everything else? If you care to opine,
please post your thoughts on our message board which is monitored by both
our staff and the staff of both bars.
Or feel free to email me directly by replying to this email.
We’ll have the Fans of the Week up again later this week, as a sneak
preview one had season tickets to the Rockpile, including a weekly seat
for a keg of beer! The other has the last name Beers…how great is
that?
Matt Soreco posted some of NYCBBB’s photographer Anna
Bazzini’s pictures of last week’s game. Check them out:

As we said, we’ll be holding a fundraiser for the victims of
Hurricane Katrina during the Bills/Saints game in 2 weeks. Only problem
is, we don’t know WHEN the game will be played! It could be that
Sunday afternoon, or even on that Monday night! Amazes me that we’re
less than 2 weeks away and the NFL hasn’t figured it out yet.
We’ll let you know as soon as we know!
So again, mourn the loss for a day or so, but then focus on the promising
future of our Bills!
— Matt “talkin’ proud and still fired up about our
team!” Kabel
