NYC Buffalo Night Push Event

Hello all 1,732 NYC Bills/Sabres fans,

We hope everybody is enjoying their summer so far, even on hot muggy days like today. It’s been quiet at One Bills Drive other than the Bills locking up Guard Brad Butler and Defensive Tackle Kyle Williams to multi-year deals. Will Lee Evans and Jason Peters be next?

Over the past few years many of you have come up to us asking about Buffalo Nite in Washington DC, where they hold an annual party that all Buffalonians in the capital attend and eat wings and beef on weck, drink Buffalo beer, and network with fellow Buffalonians and politicians in the DC area. We typically do that every Sunday during football season at McFadden’s/Calicos, but now have an opportunity to hold our very own NYC version of Buffalo Nite.

A non-for-profit group in Buffalo named Push Buffalo will be holding their 2nd Annual fundraiser in Times Square on Saturday, July 26th at 8pm. Last year’s event drew over 250 Buffalonians (including many of you) and the money raised was used to transfer a vacant building on Buffalo’s West Side into a 3 apartment home.

This year’s event, held in the SEIU Penthouse on the 33rd floor of the McGraw Hill Building on 42nd Street between 8th and 9th Avenues, will allow you to enjoy wings, beef on weck, Labatt Blue, Flying Bison Beer, Sahlen Hot Dogs and much more while networking with fellow transplanted Buffalonians overlooking an incredible view from far above Times Square.

Tickets are $25 which includes admission, entertainment, and all the food you can eat! Alcoholic beverages will have a minimal additional charge, however ALL proceeds will go to rebuilding efforts on the Queen City’s West Side.

PUSH is doing a great service to Buffalo by holding this event in NYC, and NYCBBB is teaming up with them to help create a great fundraiser and networking event that we hope we can build on for years to come. Your participation in this fundraiser is an important first step in building up the stature of this event to make it even bigger and better next year.

Many sponsors have donated food, beverages, door prizes and supplies to the event, including McFadden’s who is donating all of the wings. If you would like to make a donation or have your company get involved please shoot me an email.
