Bills vs Raiders 4:25pm

Hello all,

Well things got interesting, didn’t they? Too bad we don’t play in the NFC, where you can get in the playoffs with a losing record.

The Bills must win their next two games. But even if they do, their playoff destiny isn’t entirely in their own hands. Luckily Buffalo Rumblings put together a cheat sheet of who we need to root for:
https://www.buffalorumblings.com/bills-news-notes/2014/12/15/7393831/buffalo-bills-playoff-picture-rooting-guide-2014-nfl-week-16

Game time is 4:25pm!

Please note for reservations:
For this game, reservations are for 3pm. Your entire group must be there to sit by 3:30. Otherwise the table will be available to first come first serve.

Also as far as reservations go. They must be taken by someone, not left on voice mail.

This Christmas all I’m asking for is the Bills in the playoffs.

I hope everyone enjoys their holidays.

GO BILLS!

Jets at Bills Moved To Monday

Hello all 2,229 NYC Bills fans!

Unless you’ve been living under a rock (which I have been) you’re aware that Buffalo got hit with several feet of snow this week. As a result, Ralph Wilson Stadium is buried under white stuff and the focus is on digging the community out, and rightly so. The game has been moved to 7pm on Monday and will be played in Ralph Wilson’s home of Detroit. You almost have to think the old man had a hand in this from upstairs.

McFadden’s and Calico’s will air the game and offer specials, once details are finalized we’ll be in touch with more details, so sit tight.

Seeing the pictures from Buffalo on my Facebook page has been pretty incredible, I have to admit part of me is jealous to not be there to experience, although know the challenges it has created for some.

A friend took this amazing shot of the snow wall from atop City Hall. It’s one of those iconic photos that will last generations, you can view and/or buy a print at this link: http://proofs.dedario.com/event/1020474

As most know I have a little two year old girl, Sally, battling Infant Leukemia at Memorial Sloan Kettering, which is why you never hear from me anymore. I still catch most of the games, but quality time with Sally and our family takes priority. Of course I still check updates on Twitter when I can’t watch :).

One thing having a girl with cancer has taught me is that you should enjoy the ride and live in the now. That applies to football too. Chances for the Bills to make the playoffs are slim, but take heart. New ownership dedicated to Buffalo and winning are in charge and you can expect changes to our losing culture after the season. Instead of anger, have hope. We still have our team thanks to the Pegulas and will be able to root them on for years to come. For the rest of the season, enjoy it. Watch the young guys grow and know that better days lie ahead, this season really is the end of an era with an exciting future ahead. Let the pieces begin to fall into place.

One day soon we’ll root the Buffalo Bills on in a playoff game at McFadden’s and Calico’s, the odds are with us, and it will be glorious. Til then, breath, and enjoy the ride.

GO BILLS!

Bills vs. Dolphins Thursday Night

Hello all 2,228 of you,

Tough loss. Those hurt. Lets see how the team responds. BIG game this Thursday. Time to squish the fish again. Game time is 8:25.

Yes, the bars will be showing the games. Yes, they will have the regular drink specials. Although to manage Thursday night logistics, wings will be included but will have to be ordered (no buffet style).

As an option, they will be offering a $3 drinks / $4 drafts (including Labatts) as well.

I’m scared to log into Twitter. What’s going on in there since Sunday? Calls for cuts, firings, public humiliations?

Bills vs Chiefs

Hello all,

Quick and simple… Bills vs Chiefs at home this Sunday at 1pm. You all know the deal.

There is a rumor that yours truly will be at McFadden’s!

Hope to see you Sunday!

Bye Week

So, how was the tailgate?

The game, besides that the Bills should have put 70+ on the Jets, was enjoyable. Right? Always fun to see an AFCE team implode.

Bye week this week. McFadden’s will still be open, but instead of the regular special, they will have $3 domestic drafts and $12/pitchers. Labatt’s will be included in the special!

Bills vs. Vikes + Jets Game Weekend

Hello all,

Bills vs Vikes this Sunday at 1pm. You all know the deal already…

Unlike the players and coaches, fans like us can look past this week and look to the following week. Which is tailgate time at the swamp!

All the information you need about the Bills at Jets game is in this link:

Hero in our Midst, NFL Meeting

Hello all,

What a difference a win makes, no?

This is our QB. The BOSS!

First, were going to have a hero in our midst this upcoming Sunday. Major Patrick Miller, Allegany native, Bills fan (of course), and courageous soldier will be in town to watch the game with us. Major Miller was wounded while rescuing fellow soldiers during the Fort Hood shooting earlier this year. He’ll be in the dining area (if you can call it that on Sundays) at McFadden’s. Please give him a NYCBBB welcome.

The Bills take on the Patriots at home at 1pm. You all know the deal.

NFL Meeting / Thank Pegulas
Last e-mail I mentioned that the NFL owners meeting is being held tomorrow, October 8 at the Conrad Hotel. Tim Graham, who provided the venue location, wasn’t sure of what exact time other than “Wednesday morning.” Several of you e-mailed back with interest in trying to greet and thank the Pegulas. I’ve set up a MeetUp for now. Please let me know if you think there is a better way to manage the info: I’ll try to e-mail some Bills contacts too. All help is appreciated. Please spread the word, twitter, facebook, e-mail, myspace, smoke signals, morse code, etc.

“The first item of the agenda will be approving Terry and Kim Pegula as the new owners of the Buffalo Bills, which will then allow them to be part of the owners meetings.”

That’s all for now,

Welcome to the Orton Era

Hello all,

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you know Kyle Orton will be starting this Sunday. The Bills take on the Lions in Detroit at 1pm. What do you think about the move?

You all know the deal.

Thank you for the generosity and supporting the PUNT Foundation last Sunday!

I got this suggestion from Michael Parthum on Twitter. The NFL owners meeting is being held on October 8 at the Conrad Hotel. Anyone up to gathering there to greet and thank the Pegulas? If there is interest, we’ll set something up, find out more info, etc.

Don’t forget about the upcoming Jets game and tailgate. Info here:

I gotta work on seguing some of my sentences better, no?

Bills vs. Texans, PUNT Foundation Fundraiser

Hello all,

Lets see how the Bills respond. That’s what I want to see.

No doubt the Bills laid a huge egg last game. Is this team for real? Or have they set us up for another letdown? We’ll see how they respond this week against the Texans. I’m more confident in the coaching and team veterans than in years past.

The great folks from Brian Moorman’s PUNT Foundation will be there this Sunday. They will be on hand to raise money and awareness for their great cause. Their mission is to provide children affected by cancer and their families with the opportunities and support to enjoy the life for which they fight so hard.  The Foundation provides assistance, valuable family-centered programs and events designed to enrich their lives, provide them with support and create memorable experiences. Find out more: https://puntpediatriccancer.org/

There are several ways to help. We will be asking for donations. And they will also be raffling off a signed Sammy Watkins jersey, a signed Brian Moorman cleat, and other items. I’m not gonna lie. If I win the cleat I’m going to have to resist the urge to go out punting with it on. There has to be magic in that shoe!

I’ll see you Sunday!
