Hello all,

Hope everybody enjoyed their bye weekends. I spent mine up in the Hudson Valley and fired up my smoker and bbq-ed a huge turkey and a couple loins of pork over 7 hours with hickory flavored wood. Its nice to get out of the city and let the country boy out of me every once in awhile!

Bills/Jets Tailgate
Details are still being worked out, but NYCBBB will be throwing its 3rd Annual Bills/Jets tailgate party on October 10th at the Meadowlands. We will again be meeting in Lot 16-C, and I believe there is a 4-hour rule in effect which won’t allow you to enter the parking lot until 12:00 for the 4pm game. I spoke to Kenny “Pinto Ron” and he will be there with the bowling ball shots as always. I (and I say “I” because Matt Soreco will be away on business that weekend!) am still working out details with McFadden’s, so I will let you know about this year’s party bus and kegs of Canadian beer later in the week.
