Buffalo Bills vs. New York Giants

Hello all,

Say what you want about the Bills. I, for the first time in a long time, am proud of the team and convinced they are headed in the right direction. After perusing the videos and press conferences onĀ buffalobills.com, I’ve noticed that most of the guys are well spoken and classy. Marv said he’d bring in and keep high character players. I think it’s starting to take shape.

Plus the Bills have extra draft pictures in the 3rd and 4th rounds and from what I’m reading on the web, the Bills have plenty of cap space (4th most in the league). They are young, smart, and there is plenty of room for growth.

I hadn’t been a Jauron fan at all, but I have to say he’s kept the team motivated and disciplined. With Fairchild leaving, please Dick, break the streak of bad OCs. Get someone in who can put together a solid gameplan!

Hey! Congrats to Jason Peters who made the Pro Bowl!

The Bills play the Giants this Sunday at 1pm. You know the deal. And speaking of Peters, he’ll take on pro bowl DE Osi Umenyiora. Should be an exciting matchup.

Michelle, a former NYCBBB staff member and current NFL Films staff (and Philly Backers founder!) wanted us to pass this along to anyone going or considering going to the Philly game:

“NFL Films (for Inside the NFL) will be doing a piece on Buffalo fan support in cities around the country the weekend of week 17. First we’ll film fans watching the Sabres/Pens game at Barristers (our Sabres bar) on Saturday night (the 29th), and then we’re having a big tailgate party with Kenny in LOT D at the Linc.”

I won’t be there on Sunday. I’ll be home cooking and prepping for Christmas Eve. And watching the game on my own tube of course.

NYCBBB wishes everyone a happy holidays!

See you (next) Sunday,

Matt Soreco
